Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m Becky Peach!

I’m a wife, a mom of two, and the artist behind The Playful Peach. My passion is turning my original watercolor paintings into jewelry that feels just as special to wear as it was to create. Each piece begins with a brushstroke in my studio—often inspired by nature, color, and the little joys of everyday life.

For me, jewelry is more than an accessory; it’s a way to carry art with you, to make your personal style feel like an extension of your story.

I love watercolor- the depth you can get from layer after layer of paint, the ways paints granulate and show the texture of the paper, and the bright playful colors I can get my hands on! I love adding details in my paintings with pencil, paint markers, shimmer, and metallic blips and dots.

About 15 years ago I was experimenting with different styles of jewelry and I woke up with the idea of dripping resin on scraps of watercolor paintings. I had never worked with resin before and was learning as I went. I discovered that resin will dome on watercolor paper and soak in just slightly as it cures. And when it's done it magnifies the textures of the painting and preserve the colors- I was in love!

I was so taken by the process- finding tiny little compositions packed with vibrant visual interest. And how they practically glowed when I dropped the resin on them! I just had to keep making more to see what would happen! I still have those 'whoa moments' when I cut up my artwork or pour resin that take my breath away!

I deal with sensitive ears at times so I make sure to only use nickel-free hooks and hypoallergenic posts. I have titanium I can use by special request and I'm happy to switch out from hooks to posts to titanium- just ask!

Meet the Team Behind The Playful Peach

It’s not just jewelry here — it’s a family effort!

Becky Peach

The artist and maker behind The Playful Peach. A wife and mom of two, Becky has always found joy in bringing color to life through her watercolor paintings. What began as brushstrokes on paper soon became something more — a way to turn fleeting inspiration into lasting pieces of art you can carry with you every day.

Ashley Kanazawich

Content creator, storyteller, and jewelry enthusiast who loves sharing the art Becky creates with the world. From behind-the-scenes filming to writing captions and connecting with the Peach community, Ashley makes sure every piece of wearable art feels just as special online as it does in your hands.

Beth & Becki - the mother daughter duo

Beth first discovered The Playful Peach through a pair of memorial earrings Becky created, and from there her connection with the brand grew. With a love for art, color, and community, she joined Becky’s Emerging Artist series, learned watercolor painting, and even had a pair of cosplay-inspired earrings made just for her. Over the years, Beth has built quite a collection of Peach earrings — always treasured for their bright colors, lightweight feel, and the compliments they spark.

When her daughter Becki showed an interest in jewelry-making, the two began interning at The Playful Peach together. Now, you’ll often find them assembling earrings, packing subscription boxes, lending a hand at fairs, and sharing new ideas. For both Beth and Becki, being part of The Playful Peach is more than just helping behind the scenes — it’s being part of a creative family where every little piece of art matters.
